In the distance, the hairdresser’s van drives into the city. Auke parks his mobile hair salon in front of a shelter—a place where people without homes, papers, or a safety net can find a place to rest. The documentary explores a world often overlooked: homelessness, social exclusion, addiction, poverty, sexual abuse among homeless women, and the position of undocumented and vulnerable elderly people.
